Good morning, everyone. Today's tasks are:

1. Daily 3-2-1

Read TODAY'S ARTICLE:
“The Emperor and the Assassin” https://junior.scholastic.com/issues/2019-20/092319/the-emperor-and-the-assassin.html#940L

After reading, write a 3-2-1 list: 3 things you learned, 2 questions you still have, and 1 thing you really enjoyed. Then go online to hunt for answers to your 2 questions.

You will be asked to upload one of your 3-2-1 lists to FreshGrade sometime this week.

2. Daily 6-Trait Writing

Complete the posted worksheet. You may save the image and mark it up, copy it onto a separate piece of paper, or print it out – whatever works best for you. You do not need to submit these. I will post the answers so you can make your own work on Friday, along with your weekly paragraph writing assignment, which will be due Monday.

TODAY'S WORKSHEET:

3. Financial Literacy

TODAY'S QUESTION:
What do you “need” money for? What do you “want” money for? In your view, what percentage of money should be put towards the “needs” in life (food, shelter, and basic clothing)?

Write down your answers to the daily question on a piece of paper or in a digital file and save them. We will briefly discuss these during next week’s scheduled Teams meetings.

4. Origami

THIS WEEK'S DESIGN:
"Jumping Frog Ver. 1" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kZjq8f8Mpo

Practice making this week’s origami design. On Friday, you will need to post a short video of your work to FreshGrade.

If you need to make more paper, use this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZY_pN3f3Ok
